Starting Jeita Grotto - Harissa - Byblos Private Tour from Beirut in Lebanon. We'll pick you up from your hotels in Beirut, and the timing might vary based on your hotel's location. Generally, we aim for around 08:30 for city center hotels.
During this small-group, full-day tour, you'll get to visit three of Lebanon's most famous attractions. Our first stop is Jeita Grotto, where you'll take a boat cruise through stalactite formations.
Next, we'll head to the hilltop Our Lady of Lebanon statue (Harissa), where you can enjoy panoramic views overlooking Jounieh Bay. Finally, you'll have the chance to explore the 8,000-year-old ruins in the archaeological site of Byblos.
Jeita Grotto
Jeita Grotto, Lebanon's tourist treasure, consists of two magnificent limestone caves covered with spectacular formations of naturally formed crystals and stained glass. The roughly 9-kilometer-long grotto captivates tourists with its many forms, sizes, and colours.
This picturesque place, which is a candidate for one of the world's seven wonders, provides a spectacular day of exploring. Walking through the top grotto on foot, taking a boat into the lower grotto, and enjoy other attractions such as a small zoo, sculptures, lush gardens, and a convenient rail transfer. Harissa
The Virgin Mary statue is a big bronze statue from the 1800s. It sits 600 meters above the sea, with hands reaching over Jounieh Bay. There's a twisted staircase to take you to the top for a great view of the bay. and if you prefer, you can take on a cable car and enjoy the scenery.
Byblos
Byblos is a lovely beach city located 40 km north of Beirut and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Byblos, which has been continuously inhabited since Neolithic times, is an excellent testament to the beginnings of Phoenician culture, as well as the development and distribution of the Phoenician alphabet. A tour to the city includes visits to the Crusader Castle, a picturesque mediaeval harbour, and antique souks.
